レリーフ彫刻の凹凸に絵画を重ねた壁画から着想を得た本作は、大理石を想起させるマーブル模様を色付けし、その上にチューブ状のリボンで立体的なコード刺繍を施している。装飾の探求が生み出した多層的なテクスチャーは、地層の深みや地球の豊かさを断片的に表現している。支柱となるヒールには新たに発見された鉱物を採用。光や気候の移ろいに呼応し日々異なる表情を見せる。

Inspired by murals that blend the textured surfaces of relief sculpture with painting, this piece features hand-colored marbled patterns reminiscent of marble, overlaid with raised cord embroidery made from tubular ribbons.The multi-layered textures born from the pursuit of decoration fragmentarily express the depth of geological strata and the richness of the Earth. The supporting heel incorporates a newly discovered mineral, which responds to changes in light and climate, revealing a different expression each day.
